Jeco's Deli & Catering storefront in Nesconset, NY
Our Story

A Real Neighborhood Deli

Jeco's Deli & Catering has been part of the Nesconset morning routine since 2007 — the kind of place where regulars don't need to order out loud because the guy behind the counter already knows what they want. Every sandwich, platter, and salad is still made fresh to order, the old-fashioned way, with Boar's Head meats and cheeses and genuine care for getting it right.

We're proud to have been voted Best Egg Sandwich on Long Island — and prouder still that after all these years, it still feels like a family kitchen that happens to have a counter out front.

Our Founder

Thirty Years in the Making

John Economos dreamed of opening his own deli for thirty years before he finally did it in 2007. That kind of patience shows: Jeco's built its name on breakfast sandwiches regulars still call some of the best on Long Island, and on treating every customer like they've been coming in for years — because a lot of them have.

Today, John's son Joe carries the torch, running the deli day to day and keeping the same standards his dad started with. Same recipes, same Boar's Head quality, same deli behind the same counter on Smithtown Blvd.
